Now more than ever our teens are experiencing added stress as they navigate COVID-19 and other issues. Youth Odyssey is working with our teens virtually right now and preparing for a busy season when our doors reopen. When this happens our teens will need an outlet, a safe connection to heal. We will be ready (with your help)!

YOUTH IMPROVEMENT AFTER OUR PROGRAMS
OUR MISSION
Youth Odyssey is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit on a mission to provide at-risk youth, ages 10-17, with positive youth development through life skills and adventure programming.
I have learned to treat others with respect, to communicate better, and to not be afraid to confront my fears.I have learned patience, leadership, and integrity so we can better ourselves in the future. And that working with a team is better. One thing I have learned in Youth Odyssey is respect and life goals. I will use what I have learned to go to college.Instead of being quiet and not participating, I lay down the plan. I start actually talking to people about what we’re doing and my leadership skills have improved a lot.[calendar id=”1195″]WHAT IS ADVENTURE CHALLENGE?
Youth Odyssey offers a unique experiences for youth. We teach six basic life skills through fun outdoor activities. This method provides quality hands-on learning in exciting and engaging ways. The skills we focus on are: communication, teamwork, problem-solving, goal-setting, leadership, and trust. And they are taught by trained staff through adventure activities that include teambuilding sessions, ropes challenge courses, kayaking, canoeing, rock climbing, bouldering, hiking, backpacking, camping, and so much more.
