Fall Programs
As the summer fades into pleasant memories, Youth Odyssey’s facilitation team is gearing up for our next season: Fall! Between our weekly programs and week-long camping trips, the calendar is already filling up with action packed adventures.
After School Programs will begin the week of September 11. We will be returning to Baker, Browne, Cunningham, Driscoll, Haas, and Hamlin Middle Schools in Corpus Christi ISD. We’re also excited to reconnect with our friends in Gregory-Portland ISD. We look forward to returning to Gregory-Portland Middle School, as well as opening new programs at Andrews and Stephen F. Leadership Camps
We also have new Youth Leadership Camps in the works. Students in CCISD will be joining us during their October Intersession for a trip to Davis Mountains State Park. This trip will include camping (of course!), hiking, a star party at the McDonald Observatory, and a visit to Marfa to search for the fabled Marfa Lights.
In November we’ll be making a climbing trip to Austin’s Greenbelt, one of the best urban climbing locations around. While there we’re planning to visit the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum and check out the State Capitol.
At the tail end of Winter Break, in January, we’re headed back to Big Bend National Park. We’ll be backpacking, hanging out in the hot springs, and a visit to Terlingua. You can register for any (or all!) of these exciting trips on the Youth Odyssey website.
