Youth Odyssey's Annual Summer Fiesta is just around the corner and we want to make sure everyone knows about it. This will be an awesome opportunity for the coastal bend community to invest in the future of this city. The youth in our programs benefit directly from this event through sponsored camps and programs. There will be multiple ways for people to participate in person or virtually. This year, Youth Odyssey is presenting Micki Durrill and James Gourley as their honorary chairs. Both James and Micki have been amazing supporters and advocates for Youth Odyssey. James has served on the board and been actively pushing for the success of the organization. Throughout the years, James has partnered with Youth Odyssey on summer camps and other activities. Youth Odyssey is very lucky to have great people like Micki and James in their corner. Having them as Youth Odyssey's honorary guests, is just a small humble gesture to show our deep appreciation.

The money raised from this event will go directly back into providing free summer camp and programming for our teens. Through donations, auction purchases, ticket sales and other contributions. Every single penny is being used to provide life changing outdoor adventure experiences for Youth Odyssey participants. We want to make these trips and experiences available for as many youth as possible. And this event is the perfect way for you to have a good time and donate to a great cause.

In addition to donations and auction events. Guests will also be able to hear directly from some of the youth that have participated or are currently in Youth Odyssey. This year, Youth Odyssey will have two youth that will be aging out and sharing their stories with their time in YO. It will be a great opportunity for everyone to see first hand how much Youth Odyssey can change someone life.

For those of us looking to get something for the money we spend. Youth Odyssey will have something there for you too. Every year we get great donated trips, venues, packages and other items like them. The goal is to get them all sold during the live auction.

In addition to the live auction, there will also be a pick your poison ring toss. Guests will tests their skill in this classic game to see what prize they will take home. Adults over the age of 21 can buy tickets and take on the challenge to win donated wines, liquors and spirits. All the money raised in this activity will again go back to providing the crucial programming for our teens.

All in all this event will have much to do for everyone who attends. There will be food, drinks, a live DJ and other fun activities. Of course, given the time that we are in, we are also taking everyones safety under consideration. This will be a socially distanced event with plenty of room for everyone. We will plenty of seating areas and tables, but encourage everyone to network safely. The goal is to get everyone on the same mission of helping the youth in the Coastal Bend achieve their goals.

So, everyone check your calendars and buy your tickets. This year's Youth Odyssey Summer Fiesta will be bigger than times before. Again, the goal is to provide programming and scholarships to as many youth as possible. This can only be accomplished by having our supporters being part of this event or other events like this.
