Lemonade Day 2020 is around the corner, and Youth Odyssey has been asked to participate. The day is fast approaching so we will be getting everything ready in the next few weeks. This will be a great opportunity for our Youth Leaders, and a great way for the community to see who we are. Our locations have not been determined, but we will have a few stands likely spread across town. Stay tuned for the times and locations of our stands.
What is Lemonade Day
Lemonade Day is a great opportunity for our youth. They will practice their business skills and explore the ins and outs of entrepreneurship. This is a city wide event that is being organized by the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce. They have partnered with many people to make this even possible here in the Coastal Bend.
But it doesn't not stop at the local level. In fact, Lemonade Day is a National Event that has provided many great opportunities for its participants. There are many great stories of people all over, using Lemonade Day to help them reach individual goals or even kick start a business. We are excited to see our community get involved and help our youth reach their goals.
So this April 25th, make sure you make your way around town to visit the many stands that will be participating. You will be helping to create a brighter future for youth here in our Coastal Bend.
