This 2016 fall season is packed with schools, housing projects and homeschool programs; bringing our program total to eleven, which is one more than last year. On top of those eleven programs, we are still actively working to get into new areas like Flour Bluff Independent School District and to rekindle our partnership with Richard Milburn Academy and the Juvenile Justice Boot Camp. If our hard work pans out then that would bring our program total to 14!
As a friendly reminder, all of our programs are FREE of cost to the participants and their family’s. We aim to focus on youth ages 10-17 and if you are interested in our programs and are not currently a resident or attendant of the locations of our programs, call Youth Odyssey and we can see what we can do for you and your youth.
We are starting our programs the first week of September with La Armada and Lexington housing projects then; the following week with Leeward Homes. Lexington is a new pilot program we are trying out to gauge the response and whether or not they have enough participants to try a full length program later. The times and dates are as follows:

For our partnership with Corpus Christi Independent School District (CCISD) we will be holding year round programs at six different middle schools in the district. Last year our Baker and Cunningham programs were only one semester long and this year they have extended the partnership to be the length of the school year which will allow us to better see the impact we are having on the kids who attend our programs. All of our CCISD programs are listed below and include one ropes course and weekend camping trip per semester:

For our CCISD programs, the days and times will remain the same for the entire school year. If you/your youth is interested in attending our programs, please contact your school’s counselors and they will keep you updated.
We are also continuing our multi-year partnership with Homeschoolers Unlimited Texas (HUT) for the duration of the school year as well. With this program, the interest is so great that we have to split them into two different time blocks; HUT 1 and HUT 2. They all meet on the same day and location, only the times are different:

Our HUT programs plan to have a ropes course December; with either a canoeing, kayaking or a camping trip in the spring. They chose what activities best fit their needs and time constraints and we try our best to work with them and make the most successful programs for their kids as we can.
