Stay Updated On Youth Odyssey Events

Since the Covid-19 pandemic started, Youth Odyssey has updated its regular programming sessions. Our staff understand the importance of meeting with our youth, so we went virtual. During our live-streaming session on Twitch we use videos and activities that allow youth to continue developing essential life skills. Things needed to participate are, a Twitch account and good internet access. We use the chat feature to ask questions and interact with our viewers in real time. It's a wonderful alternative to simply watching videos or doing work packets.

Stay updated with our Outreach  Fundraising event.  Like many nonprofits, Youth Odyssey has experienced a sudden decrease in funding as we had to postpone our annual Summer Fiesta. Though we cannot see our teens in person we have fully switched over to virtual programming in answer to their cry for connection during this time of isolation. We help with issues that many teens are struggling with now more than ever. This has made our upcoming summer programming a vital outlet for them.

With that, the need is great as we are actively preparing for a busy season when restrictions are lifted (with your help, we will be ready).  Teens more than ever are (and will be) reaching out for help and comfort as they recover from yet another adverse situation called COVID-19 along with the side issues that come with it.  Please consider a donation of any amount so that Youth Odyssey will be ready to serve our teen's physical and emotional needs when our programming doors reopen.

Each fully tax-deductible donation we receive will help ensure positive life-skill programming, coping skills, adventure experiences, and an outlet for our teens to talk to our caring staff about what they are feeling and how they can remain resilient during this time. Youth Odyssey has been selected this year to participate in Lemonade Day with our youth. However, we want to open this opportunity to anyone in the community who wants to participate in this event. The actual event has been postponed until the fall, but we will update our participants as soon as we know more.
